First Aid Products

Overview

Along with first aid training, it is vital to have the right first aid products available, for not only your workers, but contractors, subcontractors and visitors. The construction and trades industry must meet the minimum requirements as outlined in Safe Work Australia’s First Aid in the Workplace Code of Practice for first aid equipment available. Dependent on whether the staff are working outdoors or in regional or remote areas, this will determine the type of first aid kits and modules that should be available on work sites or in vehicles.

Are you confident that your workplace complies with the Safe Work Australia First Aid in the Workplace Code of Practice? Unfortunately, many businesses across Australia do not comply with the code and fail to meet updated training and product requirements based on the needs of the industry and workplace. It is important that restocking and maintaining kits occurs at least once every 12 months to ensure safety for all workers and visitors on-site. If it’s been a while since you’ve had your first aid kits audited, St John SA offers restocking and auditing services to help make this process quick and easy for you.

These can be purchased through the St John online shop or by emailing supplies@stjohnsa.com.au .
