YOUTH ENGAGEMENT

SKILLS FOR TOMORROW’S LEADERS AND HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS

St John SA is developing tomorrow’s leaders. Our Youth Development program includes everyday kids doing extraordinary things in the South Australian community. The program teaches first aid and a range of transferrable life skills to children aged 11 to 17 through various engaging activities. These life skills are important to help them develop the tools, confidence and compassion to contribute to the community in a positive way. SACE points and proficiency badges can be earnt along the way as they engage in a number of personal development and leadership opportunities through a range of fun camps and competitions. Once qualified, they can start attending a range of selected events and provide first aid to our community under the supervision of our highly qualified adult members. The Youth Development program is focused on providing a fun, safe and engaging platform for young people to contribute to the community while developing first aid, life and social skills.
