AFL and SANFL games at Adelaide Oval St John SA EHS volunteers covered a range of restricted AFL and SANFL games.

Awards Day Awards Day as we know it was not held in 2020, instead several smaller events were held at divisions. A total of 170 members were recognised for their service. 2020 saw the introduction of the Ultra Long Service Medal representing 50 years of service and subsequent bars to the ULSM awarded each 5 years up to 70 years of service.

Santa’s Wonderland St John SA EHS Volunteers provided coverage (on a smaller scale) at Santa’s Wonderland at Adelaide Showground.

SANFL Finals St John SA EHS volunteers provided coverage at the SANFL football finals.

COVID-19 Testing Assistance St John SA EHS volunteers assisted SA Ambulance Service with COVID-19 testing at Victoria Park. Training Audit The audit allowed the organisation to undergo a robust review of our RTO governance. This allowed SA to strengthen systems and process supporting this functionality, and improve learner experiences.

Enhancing community resilience St John SA donated over 1,000 PPE kits to SA schools and promoted the free First Aid in Schools program. Weekend of Rock St John EHS attended the three day Weekend of Rock event, providing medical services to attendees. Launch of the Training Hub New recruitment program commenced, revitalising the induction experience for new operational volunteers. The hub concept and program front loads new members with skills, knowledge and experience by providing access to high quality, standardised training and a dedicated group of professional educators to better position members to competently and confidently provide service at events. The program supports divisional training and leadership by raising the level of foundation skills and knowledge of their new members. WOMADelaide St John EHS attended WOMADelaide Music Festival under new COVID-19 management principles. Pit Crew CPR Pit Crew High Performance CPR program rolled out to Operations Divisions including the use of a new style eBook study guide. AFL Commenced at Adelaide Oval AFL recommenced at Adelaide Oval with significant changes to operations and clinical care due to pandemic. March 2021

Christmas Pageant St John SA EHS Volunteers provided coverage at the Adelaide Christmas Pageant at Adelaide Oval.

Yumali Fire St John SA EHS Volunteers provided coverage to the Yumali Fire.

September 2020

Assistance with the Pike Creek fire St John SA EHS volunteers were deployed to provide support at the Almond Co. fire at Pike Creek. Army Cadet Camp coverage St John SA EHS volunteers assist with coverage at the Army Cadet Camp at Murray Bridge.

Charity Golf Day More than 140 business leaders took to the green for an exclusive Golf Day event, raising funds for First Aid in Schools. NRL State of Origin St John SA EHS Volunteers provided coverage at the NRL State of Origin game at Adelaide Oval.
