Grants/Funding

Legacies and bequests

100% of donations go towards supporting St John SA’s volunteers and charitable activities.

Freemason Grant A $600,000 grant from Masonic Charities to St John SA will enable 2,000 people a year over the next three years in South Australia and the Northern Territory to receive free training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and a complimentary personal first aid kit. With $200,000 of the grant already received, the target of 6,000 people trained in CPR is well underway with 1,500 people trained in 2020/21. The next instalment of $200,000 is being funded by Masonic Charities with the goal of 2,000 people to be trained in CPR in 2021/22. This partnership helps fulfil St John SA’s mission to make first aid a part of everyone’s life and aligns with the community service vision of Masonic Charities. City of Mitcham Grants Program – March 202 1 The St John SA Mitcham Colonel Light Gardens Cadet Division was successful in being awarded a $1,985 grant and were able to purchase resuscitation mannequins for cadets.

Thank you to the many people who have chosen to make a lasting difference with a legacy or bequest. This generosity allows us to continue our services for generations to come.
