Most of us know what a website is… however looks can be deceiving. Whilst the website is what you see in your browser, most of the functions performed (like booking a course) are actually powered by an engine in the next layer of fusion3. The website simply displays the result of the hidden engine layer and enables the customer to submit information (like enrolment information) in a user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing method. The new St John website is built with the latest design and technology principles in mind. You will get all the features you have heard so much about (SEO, Responsiveness etc).

The website is built using Drupal, a very popular content management system that allows St John web developers to build great looking websites that can communicate with the next layer in the enterprise system. Drupal is open-source, which means St John is not locked to a particular web developer business. Overview
The middle ring of fusion 3 is the ‘customer relationship manager’ (CRM) layer, commonly referred to as ‘Salesforce’. This layer is the engine and real powerhouse of the St John enterprise system. Salesforce serves up information such as course dates and times for the outer ring website layer to display to the customer, while seamlessly triaging transactions with the finance system in the innermost ring.
Savings St John SA is delivering an extra $270k investment on top of the National product already valued at over $1.6M.

Finance and Inventory
The inner most ring of fusion 3 is the ‘enterprise management planner’.
Feature highlight
This is a back office layer that manages financial transactions, inventories, and is the source of truth for the organisation’s financial position. It is connected to, and communicates with, the other layers but financial operations are strictly partitioned to guarantee financial robustness. Data for each state is segregated for organisational privacy.

Single touch invoicing: • The sales order/ booking is entered into Salesforce. Once the course is held, this triggers sending information to MYOB to raise an invoice • This fully integrated
• MYOB Advanced receives the sale transaction from Salesforce, produces and sends an invoice to the customer. • Customer becomes a debtor on the books until payment.
• Account customer books a course via the website or by phoning. • The booking is recorded in Salesforce.
• Salesforce holds the booking as an
‘opportunity’ until the day of the course.
• Then, and after an optional verification
tick by the trainer, it is converted to a ‘sale’ and sent to MYOB Advanced.
